About Me

Hello, I am Justine Stohl, a Deaf master-level clinical social worker. I exclusively devote my practice to the Deaf community, focusing on identifying and responding to the unique needs of Deaf, hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, and late-deafened individuals; members of the cochlear implant community; and their families.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. For whatever reason you are reading this, I can imagine you are in a challenging time in your life. I believe that therapy is about working together with care and compassion to achieve mental and emotional health in a trusting and productive working relationship.

I have been working in Massachusetts in many roles and have more than 20 years of experience, including working in outpatient and residential settings. I am most known for my work as past Director of Deaf Services at Freedom Trail Clinic, in Boston, and Director of Clinical Services at The Learning Center for the Deaf at Walden School, in Framingham, Mass.

I have intensive training in the following treatment modalities:
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Seeking Safety
Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing ( EMDR)

Being accessible to the Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and cochlear implant community is very important to me, so I am thrilled to provide services in two Massachusetts locations: Sudbury and Westborough. Both locations are just minutes from major highways Route 495, Route 20, and Route 95. While I prefer to see clients in person, I offer virtual sessions as well.

How can I help you? Please contact me at justinestohl@gmail.com or 978-938-4488 to explore your options.
